You know in my last post about spending time under a " Neon Moon " ? You mentioned anger . I thought about that after your response . I'm not going to say there wasn't some self-pity in my actions . But , as I really think back about it , I really do think it had a lot more to do with anger . Back when it was my time to go to war , we were a lot more nieve about politics and politicians . So , when we got to Vietnam , saw the crap there , then returned with this new knowledge of just how deceptive and uncaring this government can be , we were very angry . It was like a small child when they are hit with the reality that there really is no Santa Claus . Not a very good comparison , but you get my drift . There was also the anger for this government letting us take responsibility for something that they screwed up and let us take the fall for . Well , that was the past , I try no to go there anymore . Just wanted to let you know that your response did provoke some thought on my part . Thanks !
