Subject: So good to be alive... Mikki, liz and all of course...

I might have physically felt so drained last night and this morning I felt better but still a bit lethargic. However, I think the lethargic is an on and off norm thing. So many times I went to the park when I did not feel like going and I was so glad that I went. That is how it was this morning. I was up for the park! Liz, I went to that web page. I am going to have to do some research on exercising. Yesterday morning, I pushed my leg muscles thinking that I would make them stronger to get a better ‘time’ on my bike workout. I did a marginal time though. This morning, I relented and let the gears do a lot of work. I still slightly pushed my muscles on some areas of the trail, but on the harder areas I let the gears to more of the work. I knock off 5 minutes from yesterday’s time of 1 hour and 55 minutes.

I told my doc about not getting ‘pooped’ as quickly as I used to. I asked him if the added IV hydration per week was the reason. He gave me a weak maybe. He is checking into that even. Today, I paced myself so I would not get that ‘pooped’ feeling. At the end, I felt a little worked out, but not exhausted. My body is feeling very good at the moment relatively speaking and is hours after the park. Back before I started this workout thing, I could hardly walk a couple of blocks without my hips hurting big time and walking lopsided to compensate. I am doing much better with the exercise than without.

I really do not want to give up my style of exercising. It really does keep me with some semblance of sanity. I will do some research though and question my doc more about my exercising. If it is going to hurt me more in the long run, then doing it surely would not be showing some semblance of sanity.

Mikki, I do not know if this is the correct way to describe this… The ANA test did come back positive for antibodies at my regular doc’s office. The blood tests that the rheumatologist order came back negative. I guess that means that I do not have any more symptoms that are cause by the autoimmune disease. However, I do have many problems that are similar to what could be caused by autoimmune disease… arthritis, fatigue, fibromyalgia; I have something ‘f’ wrong with my veins; there are spots in some of the veins in my leg that are like little lumps and are sore to the touch… and so on. Doc said to use moist heat pad on them. And of course, the Ulcerative Colitis that I had was a autoimmune disease thing. My regular doc ordered a bunch of blood tests yesterday—5 tubes. The lab techs at the clinic did not know what ‘trace minerals’ were, neither did the people at their lab companies. I guess they called them heavy metals or something like that. If my testosterone level is low, I will ask my psychiatrist if I can get samples of Zoloft and Risperdal again and put the $50 per month toward the med for testosterone. Mikki, if I ask my office for records so I that I will know what I am talking about and be able to share with you; they probably will charge me $25. But, if I ask to have them sent to medical place it is a free courtesy thing. Could we do something like that, if need be? Oh, like… much thanks ahead of time for helping with this.

I saw six pairs of deer today. One pair kinda ran ahead of me… I was going very fast, but not as fast as they-<img src="http://www.richarddw.net/faces/s-smilelyface.gif" align="absmiddle">. I so love my park.
