Subject: ID and family injured if Boston bombing

Sadly, Irish Dance Magazine (IDM) has confirmed that the information they shared earlier is true. An Irish dance family has been devastated by the tragedy yesterday in Boston. The brother, only 8 years old, died in the blast. The Mom is in the hospital with severe injuries and the beautiful little girl, who is an Irish dancer, has lost her leg. We don't know any additional information at this time. The only thing you can do is pray. Please do so.

Irish Central reports: One of the dead has been named as 8-year-old Martin Richard from Dorchester. His mother and sister are said to be in critical condition also while another sister was unharmed.

From a friend at Clifton Academy of ID in Milton, MA:
Cards and letters of support would be greatly appreciated from the Irish dance community. This tragedy has impacted a member of our dance community and her family. The best way to reach out to the family is through Saint Ann's Parish. The priest and faculty have been in contact with the family and Jane, the 6 year old Irish dancer who lost her leg, and her family would appreciate it when the time is appropriate. Please if you want to send cards here is the parish's address:
Saint Ann Parish Neponset
243 Neponset Avenue
Dorchester, Mass. 02122
Phone: 617-825-6180
