I once took the chance,
To start Irish Dance,
And I asked my father for a large advance,
So he gave me cash,
I know it sounds quite rash,
We're now broke, but I got to B-2.

I bought new socks and shoes,
And a dress or two.
And my earings match my crown right down to the silk of blue,
And my kick pants shine,
From the gold laced twine,
We're now broke, but I got to B-2.

To go on airplanes far,
We had to sell the car,
Though without the cost of gas I bought things at the feis bazaar,
I got new Pat King CDs,
So it has to be...
We're flat broke, but I got to B-2.

To give my career a nudge,
My Dad tried to bribe the judge,
But the money wasn't right, so he got snagged by the cops... oh fudge.
Well he got the cuffs,
I know it sounds real rough...
He's in jail, but I got to B---2!!!!!
