To all the Sew & Sews of the Ft. Washita Embroidery Class — Congratulations! Some were masterfully skilled and others were, ah, less so. All made the regulation-required "U.S." appear in the center of their blankets. All the work will stand comparison to the examples that the government is importing by the bale (250 pounds, compressed wrapped and bound). Now that you have done the deed, you can truthfully say that you were issued a challenge and answered with cold steel — and triumphed!
Semper Primus!
Thank you class; let me say that I appreciated your enthusiasm and dedication. I m’self, had a grand time being instructor. I don’t mind giving directions IF you don’t mind getting confused.
A special thanks to all those helped their pards on the project. (It is the Army way, after all.)
