((Won't be here till next Saturday... so this is my last post for a bit.))

*The striped cub spins from his slight detour and springs to where Ayrist paused, sniffing heavily and then sneezing several times. Don't know this, he answered in a confused voice. At Trihek's yell, the Korat sprints forward, displaying his exceptional speed in reaching the red within seconds, then skidding to a stop and sniffing. Unable to find the trail, Banretin backs up, follows it, then circles a couple times. Can't find. Kley no fly. She here then? In his worry, reverting to more cub-like phrasings, the male stuffs his black nose into ash and soot, snorting like a leaf-blower and sending clouds of dust into the air. Then, like a lightbulb blinked on, the russet-striped cub stiffened and stood up straight. Ash like dust, like sand. Sand buries stuff. Ash bury Kley? he wonders outloud, looking around him at the barren land. Dig for Kley! he decided finally, and though Koratian paws were never intended for digging, he gets to work with a flurry of ask and bits of rock.
