Subject: Appleford, Twickenham and a flag

Clip #6 - Back in the dim and distant past for this one though I'm sure you'll all remember it like it was yesterday.

This is a particularly good clip for today due to a certain thread on the Craic that has caused a minor stir ... if you eventually get the clip to load (and I'm sorry the speed may be very poor) then the last couple of seconds in the clip are worth watching.

Loobs, let me know if you still have problems viewing these clips as I remember you saying that you only saw a 'black box' on previous clips and I had the same problem today on my machine.

Worked a treat, mate. I remember editing that clip for the 1st LISC dinner Dance, just as brilliant today.

don't forget to book for this year's DD, 19th Nov.

Loobs, I'm a married man, I can't go to the Dinner Dance with you. You'll have to find someone else.

[at some point I'll get around to sorting links to the other 5 clips that had existed in messages on the old SC]

I do love these little gems. This one was all the sweeter because it was a pass from Mr Gobby that Goeff intercepted.

Wave that flag!

I do hope we get the SC up and running again soon. This is ok in a storm but I prefer a bit of luxury myself.

It is also very odd to see the frozen remains of previous expeditions scattered around. Anyone seen Franklin?

What, the little green turtle fella?

Prefer "Little Bear" myself.

Or was Franklin a chum of Mallory? Don't think Franklin even hobbled his way up to the Khumbu Glacier, let alone the top of Everest.

As I prefer the threaded view, I quite like Sunbury Bohemia as it is. Tis a bit rough and ready, like meself.
