Subject: V Unpleasant NZ refs...

Now maybe some of the sceptics out there will believe me...!!

From the BBC Sport Site today:

"IRB punishment for referee Walsh

New Zealand referee Steve Walsh has been sidelined by the International Rugby Board after a verbal clash with Lions winger Shane Horgan.

Walsh will not be involved in any of the 22 Test matches being played in Europe and Argentina next month.

His next international appointment will not be until February 2006.

Walsh, who has already been reprimanded by the New Zealand Rugby Union, said: "That's the way it is and I have to get on with my life."

The official clashed with Horgan during the Lions' tour match against Taranaki in New Zealand in June.

The referee whistled Horgan for a knock-on and was heard to abuse the Irish player when he questioned the decision.

The Lions officially complained about Walsh's behaviour and the IRB have now taken action.

The ban is Walsh's second following his short suspension at the 2003 World Cup in Australia for an altercation with England fitness trainer Dave Reddin. "

Quote: "was heard to abuse the Irish player when he questioned the decision" - so what did he say? Anyone know?

Shouldn't it be "V Unpleasant NZ ref" with no "s" by the way?
