Ok, so I was wrong. Still win, but no score in the 2nd half again.

Is it best to concentrate on the league position or to have a go at this competition? Seems to me that the league offers the better options for qualifying for the HC. The alternative squad seem to have done well, but needed a bit of bolstering for the second half.

No reason why we can't win this group without playing our "indispensibles".

Next week v Parma will be a doddle, and the tough matches will be home and away v Agen.

I wonder what crowd we will get for Parma next week - 6,000?

The crowd might benefit from the ticket for a quid promotion and the following week is Guy Fawkes night (400th annversary apparently) so I'm going to the Parma match as I can't make the Bath game - still can't really see it get much above 7000.

Good win last night and a try fest next week would be great!!!

I think 7000 will be a miracle, even with the in for a quid promotion. I would think Coetzee would get a run to bed him in against weaker opposition.

Declan Danaher must have played himself into at least a start in this game.

If we did get 6-7k it would show just how much we have come on re. the spectators in the last few years - for the PP matches 4 seasons ago we were only getting about 2,800 or so.

The only real competition for the Parma home game is Wasps v Toulouse at Adams Park/Causeway Stadium so I expect we should have a decent crowd.

Anyone remember the L'Aquila game, 1200 spectators, only the Lower West opened. They opened the Upper West to allow us up once the heavy rain really kicked in.
