Subject: Bath match is a MUST win!

Bath always seem to be our bogey team, and whoever gets picked for them from their extra 3rds always seems to play a blinder to beat us.

But, for all our promising play so far this term, we really have got to start winning at home against those teams in mid-table.

I have a horrible feeling that if we can't beat Bath, with them missing so many 1st teamers, and with us nearly at full strength, with us at home, then our season will again slide into a long hard grind amongst the relegation-haunted stragglers.

Win, and we can look forward to Newcs and Glos with confidence of 3/3 over the Autumn Int series.

3 out of 3 for the Internationals would be great, but I'd settle for a win against Bath, a win away at Newcastle and a losing bonus point at home to Glaws. Not sure I believe in bogey teams really.

Neither do I, but we certainly seem to suffer from serial heartache when it comes to Bath. And judging by the preview on the Odd Ball, they feel the same.

I'd go for a full house at home, Dom, rather than bank on Newcastle away being the easy option. Let's knock the West Country Confederacy of Dunces into a top hat.
