"I'm never running anywhere again," he groans, sprawling out and letting his long limbs shiver with the effort of getting to the Expanse and then back here so quickly. Panting heavily, Akartis buries his head in the grass, slowly regaining his breath. "Well," he mumbles to the earth, "she's back." One ear flicks towards Ayrist, and he glances despairingly at her, though he tries to hide the emotion from the others. "I'm Junior Governor now. I still have responsibility for this planet." With that said, he lets his muzzle fall again, and slowly the aches subside.*
