The tan and brown glances at her companion, sensing her energy and easily seeing how exited the kid was about the war. Curling the barest hair of her lip, she turns her head back to watch the way they were walking silently before opening her mouth for a word of wisdom for the green. "A war is not all fun-and-games, despite the ecstacy (sp?) of sinking your fangs into an opponent's hide. There's also the pain of losing friends and also that of seeing your planet going to ruin because of the conflict... you are too young, my friend, to have experienced the most recent war on Anyana. I lost a daugter in that war, and it hurt like all btsa. So save your energy for the battle... you'll need it. Depending on how well Terole fights--and how lucky we are--this war may last longer than anyone would like. I know you've been through many spars in your lifetime- a simple glance at your hide would suffice for that- and I'm not saying you're a newbie-cub that hasn't the slightest idea if what might happen- or what you might lose. As the voice of experience, I just want to make sure you don't get yourself into a jam no one can get you out of, like... say, getting the brains kicked out of you and getting killed." She leans a little closer to the Cano-Kiara and puts her muzzle close to the green's ear. "I'd hate to see the esh-kicking reputation of our species be marred by the death of a third of the Aya population that has ever been on Terole, yehear what I'm saying?" She grins and gestures with her head in the direction of the Den. "I'm sure you'll do fine. Come on, let's go." She kicks into a faster pace, going quite a bit faster but nothing near an all-out run. "I'd ask you to race but I don't wanna get my butt kicked by a Cano-Kiara. That wouldn't do well for my pride." TFD grinned.
