Anrik was just recovering from Banretin's pounce when a sudden wind smashed into her, nearly bowling her over again. Struggling to retain her balance, the young black Korat squinted around the area, searching for the source of this disturbance.

It did not take the half-grown Korat long to locate the portal, and Anrik's amber eyes were dazzled by shifting colors. Before her mind could be drawn in by their hypnotic dance, the youngster snaps her eyes shut, but her nose still detected the faint spicy scent, and she sniffs curiously at it. Then came a flash of light so brilliant that even her eyelids could not block it out, and a crash of thunder that left the cub whimpering, trying to cover her sensitive ears with her bladed tail.

-What was that?- She demanded in Koratian when the echoes of the crash were done reverberating within her mind. Without waiting for an answer, the nearly-grown cub loped forward towards the prone crett the portal had ejected. Even from this distance, she smelled the large amount of blood, presumably the crett's own, and the black turned her light trot into a sprint, streaking effortlessly across the ground.

Within moments she reached Jonrao, and her fears were confirmed. This creature, so like and yet so different from herself, was injured, and badly. The Korayat's pulse was so faint that even Anrik's keen ears barely perceived it. She sniffed cautiously at the crimson stained fur, piecing together a story from the different scents mingled with the crett's own. It was hard, seeing as the smell of blood very nearly overpowered every other, but Anrik came to suspect a fight with a Korat, a red like her sibling, Trihek. A low rumble of concern grew in the youngster's throat, for although she had never meet a full-grown red, she knew that her brother, cub though he was, was a ferocious warrior, and she nearly trembled with the thought of what a adult, trained red must be like. Admiration for the crett that could take a red Korat on and survive to fight another day grew in her mind.

Whining slightly, the youngster leaned closer to the Korayat. She noticed the slight flicker of one of the male's eyes, and nearly yipped in surprise. So he was conscious! Anrik broke into fast, nearly jabbering Koratian, assuming the male could understand her.

-Mister! You're awake! You need help, fast. I'm too small to move you to the Healing Water. Can you drag yourself over there? I'll help support you. No! Wait!- A sudden inspiration hit the female, and she howled for her brother and Ban.

-Quick!- She called urgently, -Hurt crett! We need to help!-

Turning her attention back to Jonrao, Anrik yipped, -Can you stand? If you can, my friends are coming. We'll help you!- The youngster tried to puff out her chest, but only succeeded in swelling up her stomach slightly. Looking slightly put out, she sat down to wait for her comrades, who most likely wouldn't be long in coming.

-Don't worry,- The cub assured the injured crett, -You'll be alright.

Trihek clung with claws and tail to his perch as the winds came, threatening to toss him nearly 30 feet to the hard ground. Grimly the Korat cub hung on, determined to ride out the strange wind storm. When he dared it, the male glanced up and saw the same strange sight Anrik had seen, strange colors dancing across the sky. Burgundy brow wrinkled in confusion, Trihek looked on, and was temporarily blinded and deafened as Jonrao was hurled across the bridge between planets. In that moment of silent darkness before his vision and mind cleared, Trihek almost lost his grip on the tree, but tightened his grasp just in time. Blinking to clear the dancing lights from his eyes, the red watched as his sister dashed to the prone figure. Moments later, her urgent howl reached his ears, and Trihek finally released his grip on the tree, tumbling down to the ground. Moments before impact, he curled into a ball, and hit the ground without injury, rolling a few feet before he leaped to his feet and dashed towards his ebony sister and the wounded creature.
