She does not have rank as she has never been on JAG. She was actually the captain of a USS Starship on a Star Trek Show called Voyager. The show ran seven seasons and I am only now starting to watch it in re runs. Really like it mostly because of the strong captain that she plays. I am assuming that TPTB would just assign her the rank. My personal opinion:- They will bring in a fresh face that we all have not seen before. -- JAG
