Subject: Nabor great grandaughter

I have a Nabor great grandaughter that I got as a teenager. I have had her for over 15 years now. She is 26. Her sire was Del Taurean who is by DesertSands. I would love to know more about these stallions. I have found some info in old Arab magazines. This mare is such a special mare and looks a lot like her Great Grandfather Nabor. I have not yet ridden another horse that I love as much. I even tried breeding her, her baby is coming 6 and so far has not filled her mothers shoes.. This little Mare did everything with me. Hunters, Dressage, western you name it. I would love to find another like her.

I have a 15 year-old stallion -- a grandson to Naborr* on his top side. (He's also a grandson to Amerigo on his dam's side.) I have raised him from a weenling. I feel the same as you -- I prefer to ride him than any other horse! We have shown halter, western pleasure, hunt seat, western trail, and dressage. He's currently in training for working cow horse and is doing really well! He understands an extensive vocabulary and will play "fetch" (or "keep-away", depending upon his mood!) He's good on the trail and loves to jump. I think he's handsome, but I'm really in love with his brain! I've not bred him yet as I'm very particular about the mares; however, I've selected a Dreamazon mare for him to breed this coming season! I have had the privilege of knowing and riding other Nabor offspring and the kindness and intelligence is definitely there. This horse is--for me--a gift from God. He has helped me through life's hardships, illness, and celebrations; and he can still amaze me!
