Subject: Azaborr daughter

My daughter's first show horse was a 3/4 Arabian x 1/4 Quarter Pony who was an Azaborr daughter. Sadly we lost this wonderful using horse to colic but imagine my joy when I recently discovered a purebred Arabian mare who I firmly believe to be an Azaborr daughter. If anyone out there could help me find out anything about her I would greatly appreciate it. This mare is about 15 years old, a flea-bitten grey, is 15 and 1/2 hands. She was last sold out of somewhere in the Sugar Grove, Pa. area to a young man in Jamestown, N.Y. area who sold her to me. He said her name was 'Dawn'
Azaborr was a Stallion that stood at stud in the Jamestown, N.Y. area. A son of Naborr out of the mare Azallindy.
Again, any help finding out anything about this mare would be very much appreciated!!

When I was in college at the University of Maine, Orono, I worked as a barn manager for Essex Stud Arabians in Bangor, Maine. One of the stallions in the barn was a gorgeous, solid white Arabian by the name of Azaborr. I was told that he was the last full-blooded son of Naborr (Nabor in some registries) and at the time, he was about 25 years old. This was back in 1993. I would imagine that he is no longer alive, but it may be useful.
