you start watching a certain station because of a show that you like and the next thing you know it's not on their schedule anymore and it has been replaced with more crappy reality programming.

I was watching a series called "Midsomer Murders" on the Biography channel -- it was a British show -- very similar to the Mystery series "Inspector Morse." It's gone now. I used to watch A & E programming and saw some excellent shows like "The House of Elliott" but now they've gone to reality shows. I wanted digital cable to get BBC America and they used to run mystery Mondays but forget that now it's more of the same old reality shows. BBC America is actually running old "Dancing with the Stars" featuring George Hamilton.

I know that reality shows are cheap to produce but honestly doesn't it stand to reason that if you build up a following with a certain type of programming and you switch to the same old programming that's everywhere, that you are going to lose the audience that you cultivated.
