particularly because his acting style is known as the fart smeller.

I suppose Frons or Phelps could over ride thinking it would bring in DAYS viewers, but he's no spring chicken. Didn't Frons say something about the Y&R viewers being in rest homes? Tesch obviously casts older actors, but they are the likes of the guy who plays Zacharra who won Emmy for Hill Street blues, and Macht, who is well know critically acclaimed character actor.
