I think Liz/Jason are polarizing to the audience and that hurts the ratings. They are destroying two popular couples to make one. I agree that Liz/Jason have many fans, but not enough to overcome the lost viewership of screwed over LL2 and JaSam fans. (that's my theory, anyway)
