I was suprised and shocked.

She said he made all his own choices etc. etc, but sometimes she wonders if she could have done something to keep him away from Sonny, because he had so much promise.

Cut to Spin/Jason..

I just found that interesting but probably means nothing.

As for Liz, she yells at poor Lucky for doing his job. I have no clue why she married Lucky. Poor guy was ready to set her free, and he would have been fine. No, she couldn't stand it if every man didn't have her attention.
