Subject: Anyone want to talk about The Sopranos?

I saw the season finale. I thought Phil's death was a throw back to old school Sopranos and I was glad that there was some action.

AJ is a putz. I can't believe he got that much time in the finale. I wish Carmela would have found out about Adrianna. I'm disappointed they let that drop. I wish Melfi was in the finale in some form, too, so that was disappointing.

I've seen speculation that Tony died at the diner, comparing that scene to the scene in the boat with Bobby where Tony said he thought after you died there was just nothing.

Even if that was the case, I still was disappointed. If it ended with a "life goes on" message then that's fine, but to end it while Tony looks up and the music is building and we're made to expect something dramatic was just kind of crappy.

I was like, "WTF?" I thought my cable had gone out. Any other opinions?
