The righteous indignation that she exhibits when she wants to have her boyfriend on the side and her husband at home.

"Jason is my friend" and "Jason has done so much for us" and blah, blah. It doesn't matter to her that she is embarrassing her husband by going to police station and asking to seeing her friend. He's going to prison for killing a man (only one of many) but she wants Jake to know what a wonderful and kind man is.
