Leering sex isn't romantic unless a couple is in love, or a long established couple getting frisky.

There's no romance on the show at all, and no angst, no couples struggling to be together, nothing like that. The closest GH gets is Jiz (lmao) and they're stepping on so many people for no reason that there is nothing to root for at all there - except for both of them to eat a bag of hell and DIE.
