Joss shows up (for example) and people go out of their way to lick his ass and try to be witty.

We don't have celebs showing up on SZ, but posters become "stars", so the sheep go out of their way to lick their ass and be witty for them.

Guza really explained recently in a magazine article on "who will win Lulu's heart" what's going on with Lesley Lu, and if you actually watched the show you can see it. Julie is being TOLD to play cold hearted and distant. She doesn't believe in love. The first time she got intimate, she got pregnant and had an abortion. Now she knows about Liz/Lucky. She knows that her mother went insane and her father has never been the same. She knows about the fake wedding. Now, Scott's going to tell her about the rape, so ugh..

Its' going to be hard for her to believe in honest love.

IT has nothing to do with not having chemistry with guys, The standoffish is the way she's being told to play the character. In fact, this is the exact quote from Guza on Lulu and guys:

Imagine falling in love with a girl who wants nothing to do with romance because of her history?

Sometimes you just want to go there and say DUUUUUUUH!@!!!
