Good point! My husband and I are independent contractors for Primerica. There is an amazing amount of untrue information circulating about Primerica right now. Let's remember, people, that this is a page where anyone can post.(Including competitors) Before making a decision about Primerica, perhaps you should check the Better Business Bureau. Maybe Forbes or the Wall Street Journal. My point is that it isn't a good plan to rely on information posted on an unreliable source. You don't make your life decisions based on the opinions of others, do you? Of course not! You check things out for yourself. Please do the same here. I encourage people who are uncertain about our company to visit Primerica.com, and to take a look at the Press Room section. Primerica has been directly praised by many reputable sources. It's main goal is to help families manage debt and to be able to retire comfortably. It must be taken into consideration that all companies will have a few bad apples, but it is not right to judge an entire entity off one bad experience. By the way, the $199 fee is to get trained and licensed to advise people financially. You can't just walk off the street and tell people what to do with their money. Primerica is the marketing division of Citigroup, and is in turn heavily regulated. A scam? No way. No advertisement is the reason for the need for recruiting. We broke the mold on how to build a business, and of course that will put us under a certain amount of scrutiny. With over 6 million clients, if Primerica were a scam, don't you think it would be all over the news by now? Well, why isn't it then? Anyone?
