Last week my husband attended a meeting, he had gotten a phone call saying someone had refered him and asked if he was interested in listening to a new opportunity. He went and came home and told me he had set up an appointment to do a FNA. I was unsure so I told him no and he asked if I would think about it and let the woman call and explain it to him. I looked at the company web site, checked BBB, and figured it must be ok if it's a division of citigroup. I had a good talk with the woman and set up a meeting. We had the meeting and was not pleased that the so called debt consalidation is refinancing. While I would like to condsolidate my debt I do not want to refiance considering we have a good interest rate and we have our house up for sale. We did agree to see if they could come up with something better. Then we talked about us working for them. I was told I could work 8-12 hours a week at home doing the paperwork etc. She even said we couldn't do it full time. So I agreed and paid the fee. Would I actually make anything working that few hours? I have no illusions of making thousands, but a few hundred a month would be nice.
What happens if we don't refiance thru them, can I still work for them? And what if we can't come up with people who are willing to meet with them?
