I just wanted to alert you (and anyone else who is interested) that the color descriptions for the USFL teams are incorrect on a lot of sites. In fact, I am to blame for most of them. Back in 1983 or so, I used to talk to a lot of the USFL front offices to get a better understanding of the colors used, and one of the more confusing teams were the Breakers. Different publications (Sporting News for one) had incorrect color listings for the colors, and I used to bug the Breakers on a regular basis to get the colors listed right. The "Ocean Blue" description (to describe the lighter shade of Blue) was something given to me from a Breakers' office receptionist. It was NOT official. It was just something she told me to get me off the phone (!). The correct colors were as follows: Breaker Blue (for the light Blue), Royal Blue (for the darker Blue) and Silver. THAT is official.

Anyone interested in more infomation on the league color-wise can go to my USFL Paint Specs page on my SSUR.org site:

http://www.ssur.org/research/USFLPaintSpecs/USFLPaintSpecs.htm

The colors listed and shown in there are about as complete as you can get anywhere. I've taken a lot of time to get this together.
