I think what you mean is that the white "C" decal (Thanksgiving Day special) and the orange "C" decal that the Bears used for the rest of the 2004 season was not the same decal they have always used from 1962-present, white or orange? In other words, the "newer" decal (Thanksgiving 2004 and after) was "too perfect"? I understand what your saying if this is what you mean. If you look at the Bears helmet logo on this site and others, the "C" logo is indeed, not perfect. The inside ends of the "C" do not match up correctly and when I first posted the Bears on this site I thought it was just bad graphic design. But lo and behold that's the way it is! It's pretty subtle in my opinion, but still noticeable. I hope this is what you meant! Sorry for rambling! I might have made this more confusing!
