We still have some LARGE fest shirts left. They are white shirts with the fest logo in blue and black on the front. If anyone is interested, they are $15.00 each and money raised at this point will go to the University of Michigan Cancer Center. If we sell them all we can make a nice donation to them or maybe even a nice donation to 2 places. Please email us at the fest email bcr30@popstar.com OR my email pattyjo@email.com. THANKS

OK, I just literally walked in! I haven't undressed, eaten nor done #1 (my bladder's about to burst!) ,I just had to open my puter and had to edit all the pics that I've taken from the fest first. I am soooo happy I could fly...I mean cry...no...no, I mean...I don't know what I mean! Anyway...just want to thank all the Fest Planners and helpers for organizing such a wonderful gathering. I'm so impressed on how organized and so helpful you all were. I had a blast!!! Everyone was so nice. it was great meeting new friends and old ones. It was a dream come true to finally meet Ian, and Nobby! A special treat to meet and greet Wayne. (I'm halfway reading his book). I enjoyed Joe's great performances during and after the fest. The food was great, the place was great...okay, everyone and everything was GRREEAAAT!!! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone!!! Hope ya'll have a safe trip back home and hope to see ya'll at the next fest. Speaking of which....
When's the next one? :P

This was my first Fest, and I was amazed at how wonderful Roller fans are (and how wonderful Rollers are, too -- thanks, Ian and Nobby!) I had a great time, going back to the days when any troubles would go away just by listening to "Saturday Night" or "I Only Want to Be With You." I'm ready for another one right now!

Hi, Rose!

Didn't know if anyone here collects Hard rock Cafe pins or tshirt's if you do please note that there are 4 Hard Rock Cafe's in Southern California, the closest one to the hotel would be Newport Beach, there is another one at Universal Studio as well.
Just thought since many are coming from out of area, this might be another tourist stop.

Hey all, what's up for Sunday?
My flight doesn't leave until late afternoon and I was wondering if there was anything "official" going on, like "Ginger's tear-fest" LOL
Do we want to make plans to do something Sunday morning to top off the weekend? Brunch, a shopping trip, or sight-seeing maybe?

I was wondering who was coming into LAX on the 17th?
The best fare I could get would put me at LAX and I would have to take the airport bus to the hotel. If I knew who else is coming in we could catch up and make getting lost in the airport not so bad.

e-mail me
Thanks!!

I am a single mom, and I am going to bring my (then) 13 year old boy with me, as his birthday will be just weeks before and it will be his first time in California, or getting a chance to go to Disney. Wondering how many others may bring their families, so Joshua can make friends and have someone else to hang out with.

So I can share a room, and do what *I* want to do that weekend ;o) (like stay up all night, turn 14 all over again, and go to Disneyland!)

Anyone who has space in their room or needs a room, let me know! I haven't booked a room so options are still wide open at this time. YIPPEE!

FYI for anyone wanting to stay in Anaheim until the july 4th holiday. The Days Inn is the main hotel for the anime convention held at the anaheim convention center. This convention will be celebrating the 20th annv. of the Robotech tv show, and from i have heard some people are flying in early, ie June 21st, most of the dealers for the convention will be coming in around the 24th. Convention is july 1-4th. I know this is going to be held at a different hotel but just thought if anyone gets the old routine "there's a convention in town" there will be one two weeks after BCR."

It started to feel real to me when my hubby came home from working overtime today and said that he was working to get me to "Californy" in June! I've never been anywhere in the Western U. S., so I am extremely excited about going to Calif. and seeing everyone again and meeting those of you that I don't know!

Hello and thanks for the invitation to the BCR fest in June. I sure hope that I can make it there. I have been a Roller fan for 30+ years and still have all their albums and pics froom some of there concerts. My wife, 2 friends from New York City (Hi Solveig and Pat) and I used to travel and follow the BCR from place to place. The last time we saw them was in Boston in Dec. of '77 and just a few days later Cheryl, my wife, died of blood clots in her lungs, but know that her last few days were happy ones getting to see the BCR one last time. I hope that Pat and Solveig see this message and get in contact with me and come out to the fest in June. Thanks again for the invite!!!

Hello all you BCR tartan Fans,
My name is Ina Boone, I'm from Shawnee, Ok. I have been a fan of the Rollers since I was 19 years old. The year I first heard of the Roller was the year I graduated from high school. I still listen to my records of them (I have 11 of their albums.
My favorite Roller is Derek Longmuir from day 1. Even though I haven't been to any of their concerts. I still would LOVE to meet any of them. Just to talk and see them.
I hope some day I will get to meet other BCR Fan so we can just get aquainted and talk.
I'll close for now.

I know it sounds fairly blonde this question, but for some of us Overseas trips like this would involve a lot of planning beforehand - until they make dead cheap flights to Calif anyway!!!

I had a look at the overview, and its kinda meet and greet Friday night, chill out and hang out yes? Like SAL??

Sat night is a meal, but is there any entertainment involved? If so, any idea what??? Oh, and is it only the 2 days, or is there anything on Sunday?

Sorry if I seem slightly anal girls, I like to know whats planned before making any decisions!!

Oh My God!!! ok ,,,,Flash backs....As I hold my hands on my head LOL!!

I remember the Concerts, the Concert lines and Screaming til I could not talk at all, Most of all I remember my sister taking me to the Long Beach Arena All dressed in Plaid and all exicited to see the Bay City Rollers and She sat in her Car waiting for me til the concert was over. I am hoping to be able to make it next year but, I have a 25th reunion for High School Gardena High School. And a family cruise to Ensanada. I Debbie (Lugo) whom I liked Eric, still keep in touch with the girls whom I attended the Bay City Rollers concerts with Leanna (Clarke) whom liked Leslie, Cheri (Van Buren) whom liked Woody and Gina (Mangini) whom also liked Woody , I don't know where Diana (Grahlman)is whom liked Derek. My friends from High School remember me from liking the Rollers and I never denied liking the Rollers because I always have and that is what you call a diehard fan even 30 years later....lol well, I hope to hear from other diehard fans even 30 years later but only in our memories you can reach me at debbiegoodman@charter.net or Message me at reddingfemale on Yahoo!Messenger.
