Jon had had all weekend to process everything as well, and he still didn't know what to think. His logical side told him to forget it, that it was too risky, she was too young, he would lose his job. But his other side wanted to kiss her again, hold her, and do things that he wouldn't admit he wanted to do. But he wanted more than that, he was attracted to Sara yes, but not just physically, she was smart and kind and though he didn't know her well, having maintained what he thought was the appropriate level of distance from her, he found her easy to talk to and calming to be around. Jon didn't know what to do. Should he do what was right or what he really wanted?
Monday morning came and Jon got up and got ready, driving to school, but getting there a little late because of traffic. He got there in time to unlock his door so his students could get in before heading to the teacher's lounge for some coffee to wake him up and give him more time to think. The other teachers mainly left him alone, they were all half asleep as well. But Ms. Montgomery kept trying to flirt with him. She was young, only a year older than him, but not very attractive, and kind of annoying. But Jon smiled and nodded until he finished his coffee and excused himself, reaching his class as the bell rang. His green eyes automatically looked to Sara, giving her a small smile before settling at his desk to take roll. Jon gave them a reading assignment and set about finishing up the week's lesson plan, but he kept finging himself staring at Sara out of the corner of his eye, watching her. Jon forced his eyes back to his paper, biting the inside of his lip, struggling with himself until the end of class. As the bell rang he stood and looked at Sara, knowing she'd be looking at him. "Sara, could you stay after school today?" He asked.
