Subject: He nodded and offered a smile, watching her head into the kitchen before letting out a heavy breath and wandering in search of Jessie. He headed into her room and sat himself down on her little pink bed, glancing around the room that had once been his sophisticated guest room, smirking a touch- in honesty he liked it better now.

  • Jessie tipped her head, pursing her little lips as she handed her father a book to read to her. "Mommy was sad last night but she told me I shouldn't cry cuz you loved me and you would be home soon." She tipped her head. "Now you can read to me!" She smiled brightly, a simple childs logic. He wasn't home before but now he was so everything was ok. Ash on the other hand, was leaning against the kitchen counter, her hand covering her mouth. Marc wasn't so good at hiding his feelings with her and he was obviously a little 'off'...her suspiscions about his relationship with his co-worker only grew with this new development.
