Subject: She shook her head as she tried to calm down her tears. "I just wish...I wish things had worked out better for us...that I had made you happier or that...I don't know..something..." She let out a soft breath before she ran her hand down her face. "Can you take tomorrow off and watch Jess during the day?" She needed to find a place to stay, she couldn't stay with him, not anymore...

  • He swallowed heavily and set his jaw, leaning againstt he wall as if defeated, watching her. He nodded a little at her request, feeling like his insides were being sucked out of him.
