As Howard states, it does in fact refer to having sex. It could mean, as Howard implied, that he is having sex with a virgin, although the reference "Don't let it drop, cuz if it drop, it will pop and if it pop no one can mend it cuz if them mend it you can easily bend it" could also refer to the horrible things that can happen when she is on top and "let's it drop" out, then lands on it. Ow. After such an incident, men have been known to end up with a bent one. Although, I tend to lean toward the virgin idea.

Sorry if I'm too graphic. I seriously don't mean to offend anyone.

An interesting note: later in his career, Peter Tosh focused fully on the spirituality of Raggae and the power of Jah and was criticized for this early song. I've even heard that he stopped performing Ketchy Shuby later on as it was not "all for Jah."
