Subject: Too harsh??

Hey Elisha, i need ur view. My boyfriend and I have been together for a yr plus now, and we are getting better and better everyday. We used to fight every single day, and i tell u the hurt is still in us. But now, every single time we have we cherishh them and get all over each other like a newly-met couple. However when we fight, we get all violent and harsh. He slapped me once before, and i just walked off and broke off with him. Last week, we fought and we get physically abusive. I slapped him, and he returned a slap across my left cheek. 30 mins later he called my mobile phone and apologised, and everything's like never happpened. I still love him , and so does he. We are going on very fine, but do you think this is normal? We thought of going for proffesional counselling, but is the money worth it all? Thanks
