Subject: lost in love

my girlfriend whom i have been together for four years tells me that she wants time. she still loves me as a person but doesn't know if she loves me enough to live with me. plus her parents don't like me, so for four years she'd lied to her parents to be with me. never once i got the chance to come to here house and actually take out on a date with her parents knowing. she wants me to do good in school but i didn't and failed so i had to transfer to a new school and now i don't see her very much. she lied to me and said that her parents found out and they were mad at her and took her cell phone that's why she didn't call me for two days, then she calls me at work and asked me to come and see her, so i did and she asked me how i feel and i told her that i was very sad, and she asked me if i love her, and i told her that i loved her very much and that i wanted to move out with her. after that day she stops calling me and doesn't want to talk to me and avoid all my calls. i bought her a diamond ring and gave it to her, and one day i was so sad so i went out with some friends and got really drunk, so i decide to call her and she tells me that she wanted to go get the ring resized because it didn't fit her, she said that she would call me, but she never did. and just the other day when i saw her at work, she told me that she wanted to give the ring back to me, and that she wanted to be friends. when she was working before mother's day i went and bought her a dozon roses and a pooh bear, because to her i am a pooh bear. she except the roses and call me to ask if i had the roses delivery to her work place and i said who else would give you roses, and she knows why i gave her the roses but she still asked to why i gave her the roses, and i told her that because i love you that's why. and then she said that she would call me later, but she didn't. she is very smart and her family has very high expectations of her. she tells me to forget her and that i should move on and find another person, but she knows that i only love her. she tells me that she is seening this guy, because she wants me to forget about her. i don't understand after 4 years of been together, how can a person just said it's over and try to avoid it. i know she is the only person for me. she is my first love and i am her first too. she has given everything to me and her parents don't know jack about it. what does she really want? please help this confused man that's in love.
