Vera I found a TV under my dock about a week ago. Some one put it there and I believe came back a few days later because the closet door on my boathouse was open. I didn't see any body but do see alot of traffice crossing the lake bed. Thanks Steve

Someone came thru our gates and left them open on Tuesday nite. It appeared that they came from the lakebed. You are right about the 4 am. Most of this prowling around is going on between 4 and 5:30 am. Please call the Sheriff on any suspicious activity.

Hello, thought I would let you know that Betty Waters big Turkey she had in her yard was cut with a knife (which it is a blow up) and then the next night they had stolen it. I have noticed many more people walking the neighborhood at night also. My exact thoughts recently on the prowlers was also to make sure I have nothing sitting out in my car, I think it is great for you to remind everyone to be careful because people just don't think which then causes more people to steal from the area. I saw two police officers in the neighborhood with lights shining on homes, etc. about 5:00 am last week so there is definitely something going on. I am up early and see the people walking around at 4:30 am and I believe they walk the neighborhood all night long, pretty creepy! Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Another episode was uncovered yesterday. At the end of Arrowhead (103 Arrowhead) a weekend resident came home and found that his back window had been broken and the place was ransacked. Nothing taken but some money. The police were called and were here yesterday.

The owner seemed to think it was kids riding 4-wheelers along the shore line, determining who is home and who is not, and then breaking in.

I recommend that we all keep cameras handy and photograph anyone walking or riding along the shoreline and notify the authorities.
