Because the site is geared towards the average person who is learning and gets confused if bogged down with a whole slew of terms and such. There are enough sites out there with very detailed info that can actually get confusing - my site is for the average person and parent who does not have the time or may not be ready yet for the depth of other sites.

Now, the religions that Wicca (the various paths) are based on DO predate Christianity. Many Pagan religions predate Christianity. Modern Wicca is newer but the old ways predate...
