An Interview Seminar has been set for Sunday, April 10th at the Averitt Center for the Arts, Downtown Statesboro. The Seminar will begin at 2PM and will last until 6pm. Mid-afternoon sandwiches will be served. Anyone ages 12 - 24 are invited to attend. The charge for this Seminar will be $25 each. This price includes a mid-afternoon snack, SEIS embroidered canvas tote bag, and a SEIS certificate. Please send $25 and RSVP as soon as possible to assure your spot. (Limited space available)
This Seminar will be helpful in many ways. It will give each contestant a chance to practice their Speech & Interview skills, as well as receive helpful information on how to improve on it. Each girl will have a Mock Interview with 3 – 5 judges. The Interview will consist of a 1-minute speech and 5-minute interview. The girls will be judged on Speaking Ability, Poise, Self-Confidence, Information, Dress, Knowledge, & Ability to Communicate. The girls will need to dress as if they were in real Interview. After individual interviews, we will have a conference on tips for Speech & Interview Skills. Information will not be based on any one system, just general Interview Knowledge & Information.
