An South East Interview Seminar (SEIS) has been set for Sunday, May 22nd at the Ross P. Bowen Building in Lyons. The Seminar will begin at 2PM and will last until 6pm. Mid-afternoon sandwiches will be served. Anyone ages 12 - 24 are invited to attend. The charge for this Seminar will be $25 each. This price includes a mid-afternoon snack, SEIS embroidered canvas tote bag, handouts & info, and a SEIS certificate. Please send $25 as soon as possible so I can email or mail you driving directions. This will not be cancelled or rescheduled.
This Seminar will be helpful in many ways. It will give each contestant a chance to practice their Speech & Interview skills, as well as receive helpful information on how to improve on it. Each girl will have a Mock Interview with 3 judges. The Optional Mock Interview will consist of a 1-minute speech and 5-minute interview. The girls will be judged on Speaking Ability, Poise, Self-Confidence, Information, Dress, Knowledge, & Ability to Communicate. The girls will need to bring an interview suit to change into to dress as if they were in real Interview. You can change after your session. After individual interviews, we will have a conference on tips for Speech & Interview Skills. Information will not be based on any one system, just general Interview Knowledge & Information.
