Miss Georgia State Pecan Scholarship Pageant

We are pleased to announce the formation of a new pageant system in Georgia. The Miss Georgia State Pecan Scholarship Pageant is more than a pageant with a purpose. This pageant is geared towards promoting self-confidence, poise, and encouraging future leaders among all contestants. Not only can the winners earn thousands of dollars in cash and prizes, but they also gain effective communication skills to lead our communities in the future. Our contestants will leave feeling good about themselves and gain the competitive edge to succeed later in life, whether it be walking the runways in Milan or operating a Fortune 500 company.
The Miss Georgia State Pecan Scholarship Pageant will open numerous doors for all winners during their year of reign. Each winner will represent the pageant during the following year and will return to the next year’s pageant with their family’s hotel room provided, to crown their successor. Each winner will have the opportunity to meet the Governor of Georgia, make appearances in parades, and model in high-profile fashion shows. Awards and prizes include: $1000.00 in cash to each winner, official Miss Georgia State Pecan Crown, rhinestone banner, and a large basket of prizes and gift certificates. Runners-up will also receive cash on stage in the increments as follows: 4th Runner Up - $50.00, 3rd Runner Up - $75.00, 2nd Runner Up - $150.00, and 1st Runner Up - $300.00. We will not award trophies, as they simply collect dust. We want our winners and runner-ups to be able to use their prizes and rewards. Each contestant will be entered in all optional categories, as we feel every contestant should have the same opportunities to win prizes and awards without having to pay additional fees. Competitions categories include: Model Miss – each contestant can unleash their personality and creativeness. Each contestant will wear the outfit of their choice to reflect their personality and model on-stage, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Dress, and Photogenic. Junior, Teen and Miss Contestants will also be required to compete in personal interview with the judges, and submit a portfolio, which will include a photogenic picture and a bio (very similar to a scrapbook of achievements).
Contestants must be between the ages of 1 and 23. The pageant will take place in Georgia on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. This is an AT-LARGE pageant. We will also have four preliminary pageants to help contestants earn ½ of their fees paid to the Miss Georgia State Pecan Scholarship Pageant. The first preliminary pageant will be held in Valdosta, Georgia on October 23rd. The director’s have over 50 combined years of experience in pageantry, personal development, producing and encouraging future leaders of tomorrow.
