Subject: Competition Questions?????

Here is the deal... If a contestant is blessed with outstanding talent, performs very well in interview, evening gown and swimsuit, wins a Local title, in other words the complete package, why will a contestant with these qualities be slammed by some people who post messages at this site? Some people are threatened. I do not get it.

Here is the second deal.. If a contestant is not as talented or does not perform as well in the other elements of competition, you will never read about this type of a contestant at this web site. Why? Because people are not threatened, Dah!!!

Example: State Hopping: Bryn Chapman supposedly "state hopped" (a very funny phrase) so what? So did Lindsay Shipps. Lindsay is a resident of Michigan and attends Indiana University. Why no "state hopping" messages about Lindsay Shipps? Hmmmmm. Come on now why? And you know the reason...

These young women "state hopped": They pursued the dream and won the title... Should their titles be over thrown simply because a few people who post messages at this site do not get it??? Well, that will never happen!

Heather French - Miss America 2002
Competed: Kentucky and Ohio
Nicole Johnson - Miss America 1999
Competed in Virginia and Florida
Tara Holland - Miss America 1997
Competed in Kansas and Florida
Shawntel Smith - Miss America 1996
Competed in Oklahoma and Arkansas
Leanza Cornett - Miss America 1995
Competed in Florida and another State (name I can't recall)
and many more....

If you have a problem with the funny phrase "state hopping" contact the GOVERNING BOARD OF THE MAO. Or, READ and UNDERSTAND the contract developed and written by the MAO which applies to Local, State and National contestants.
If a contestant MEETS the requirements of more than one residence, example: lives in Indiana and attends college in Illinois, then, the so called "state hopping" is legal.
It is not difficult to comprehend. Geezzzzzzzz!

Here is the third deal: It is obvious, if a contestant is the "entire package" then the negative messages posted about a specific contestant(s) smack of jealousy and envy. It is soooooooo clear and obvious.

Personally, I believe all Miss Indiana Local titleholder possess the qualities to win Miss Indiana! Regardless of who wins, I support the titleholder. DahDee DahDee Dah
