My name is Dena Cox, board owner. I am 31 yrs old and live in Litchfield,IL. Together, my husband,Chris Sr.and I have 3 wonderful children together. Kelsey is 9, Chris Jr. age 2, and Aubree Ann age 4 months. I have a degree in Microcomputer Technology, of which bored me to death and I never even applied for a job anywhere with!! LOL! Then went to nursing school, I majored in psych, and worked a lock-down unit for several years. The facility was purchased by a group of people from Texas and relocated there. So I went to Medical Staffing Network where I am still employeed. I also just completed a certificate in Real Estate Brokerage, and am now employeed with Coldwell Banker, and I love it!! Kelsey began competing in pageants at about age 10 months, long story there, but it was right after the death of an infant we lost to a genetic disease (we lost 2) called Osteogenesis Imperfecta type 2. A cousin's wife had a child the same age as Kelsey and had taken her to a prelim where she had won a runner up and kept throwing it into my face. This didn't bother me as much as the fact that after I lost the baby, a very cruel nurse told me "it's better off, the child would have been a freak to society if it lived". So after many months of her non-sense, I put Kelsey against her daughter in the next pageant and she took GRAND LOL!!! Hooked every since (she pulled her daughter out of pageants!!) So that's how we came to the pageant world. how about yourself?
