My friends little girl won overall supreme at a pageant. She won all of her supreme fees paid to the naitonals worth $495. The national was cancelled and never held. Doesn't the direcotor owe the little girl something?

The OP did not say fees off she said the whole supreme package was to be paid. She WON -GET IT?- she won the opportunity to compete "without cost" at a national. If this happened about 4 or 5 years ago there was a pageant that had some kind of intitials in the name, can't remember what, but they cancelled a few days before the pagenat saying someone called the hotel and cancelled saying they were her. It may not have a "cash" value but it does have a value. What if the prize had been 5 days admission into Disney World rather than admission into a pageant? Oh, I see, its different because it's a pageant, huh? And directors don't have to ever make do on a promise. That is an awful thing to do to a child!!! It would be different if she had cancelled and made it months later. At least the little girl would have gotten to eventually collect her prize.
