The beauty of Child Life being such a young field is the flexibility it brings in the background you chose to walk into it with. It is all possible, just remember the core values of practice.

Take a look at Light Spinner Quarterly, the Child Life magazine/blog, or the CLC for more answers. I know Light Spinner does free job postings as well, you might find something helpful there. Most people have a psychology background...but several schools have started offering Child Life certification and Masters programs. Go big or go home! Best of luck!
