I worked for Geoffrey Fieger during the Kevorikian trials and I have seen the movie--while much of it was really a true portrayal. The way Geoffrey was portrayed was not really the way he really was. He very much loved and cared for Jack. Dr. K. was his own worst enemy and Geoffrey did not just throw him to the wolves. I lived through that and didn't like the way Geoffrey was portrayed at the end of the movie because it wasn't what truly happened. I greatly respected Dr. K. while I worked at Fieger's office and I still do. However, he did exactly the opposite of what Geoffrey told him to do. And, for the record David Gorosh was not portrayed very good in the movie either. He was one of the attorney's I worked for while at Fieger's office and again--his hands were tied--Dr. K. had a mind of his own and his own agenda.
