Who defines quality of life..? Who gives quality of life? Does a man who is in prison for the rest of his life have quality of life? Does the quadriplegic have quality of life? Does the person who does not live up to his own life's potential have quality of life? Tell me!! When we start defining quality of life then we MUST start defining the end result. What would the litmus test be? If you don't earn enough, if you aren't pretty enough, if you're not smart enough? Or maybe we should start considering use of limbs? How many would we have to use in order to not be considered sliding down that slippery slide of live's quality? And then, of course, we could inter all these poor people in, say a camp, to segregate them from all the normal people. In time we would euthanize them, because after all, they cannot breed-they are imperfect-and they are just a drain on this nation's economy.

We treat freaking animals better in this country than we have treated Terry Shiavo. We get put in jail for starving an animal. In this country, it is alright to torture your wife-alright?!!! It's freaking legal!! It's his RIGHT to torture and ultimately murder his wife. He will be a hero when this is all over with. What has this country come too? Are we so stuck on perfection that we feel justified in disposing of the weak? May God help us all.
