I don't think his comments, such as mine, should be construed that we are insensitive. I think we are just being realistic in the state she is in. I also am distanced from taking it personal and I see it as my being able to be more objective over it because it does not affect me personally.

I am currently watching a show, a bio on Terry, from when she met Michael and married, to now. It tells Michael's side vs. her parents side, and doctor's opinions, and Terry's two comments (one to Michael and once to her brother) about her not wanting to be in a state like this.

Michael also seemed genuine at first, going to school, becoming a nurse, then an emergency room nurse, all with the well meaning to care better for Terry, but then in 1998 he started to change his mind after investing money into some tests and experimental things on her brain to see just what was really going on it in-- nothing is going on in it.

This biography left me not so suspicious of Michael as I was. After hearing what Terry's brother (who lived upstairs and came down immediately after Terry collapsed when she was still breathing) had to say. I was much less suspicious of how Terry got into this condition.

I don't believe Terry is suffering, but she certainly is not happy, and I truly believe if she had the choice of being in this condition/situation the way she has been for the last 15 years, she would say enough is enough and ask her parents to let her go.
