Nick Crawley loved music from a very young age, and by the age of eight he was taking lessons in playing the piano. His extraordinary musical skills meant he was offered a recording contract as soon as he turned eighteen, but instead he chose to continue his education. Finally at the age of 23 he is fulfilling his dream of being a professional musician and releasing his debut single “Forgetting You”.
Do you remember me like I remember you?
(Piano.)
I can still see in my head where you fell,
And where you laughed.
A few too many margheritas,
And you couldn't find your path.
Tell me, how can I find my own path when I'm still tracing yours?
Forgetting you.
That's the hardest thing to do.
Forgetting you.
Forgetting everything that's true. (True love.)
That's why, though I try, forgetting you...(It's hard.)
I can play out your message again,
On the telephone,
Where we spoke those sweet words.
Did you lie when you said you'd come home?
Forgetting you.
That's the hardest thing to do.
Forgetting you.
Forgetting everything that's true. (True love.)
That's why, though I try, forgetting you...(It's hard.)
The memories don’t haunt me.
They’re with me every day. (That’s true.)
But they could never taunt me.
And they’ll never go away.
I wouldn’t want them to.
I know I should forget you.
But what would I do then?
Is it better to have loved and lost?
Or to love and lose again?
Oh, what would I do then?
Forget you?
Oh, what would you do then?
Forget me?
Oh, what would we do then?
Forget us?
Forgetting you.
That's the hardest thing to do.
Forgetting you.
Forgetting everything that's true. (True love.)
That's why, though I try, forgetting you...(It's hard.)
Forgetting you…
Forgetting you…
Forgetting you…
Would I forget me too?
(Piano.)
