Love: Real or Fake?

Love is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love rejoices in the trust, but not in evil. Love is always supportive, loyal, and hopeful, and trusting. Love never fails. - Corinthians.
Love has been around since time began. However, it has always been two-sided. There is a lovely, bright side of love where everything is right and you find that special someone. There is a darker side of love when everything feels right one moment, but the next it doesn’t and it all comes crumbling down around you. In this article I’m going to try and compare the love lives of celebrities as well as simply normal Sims. How is it different? How is it alike?
FRIENDSHIP:
Many celebrity Sims come together and bond over a short amount of time because they are always busy and it is very rare to find someone who will share that bond with you. That is, unlike regular Sims who have plenty of time on their hands. Very rarely do you find celebrity Sims who have bonded over years before becoming famous. Take Willow Mallory for example. She has bonded with many other famous Sims because they have known each other for more than a few months. They’ve known each other for a good while, it seems. Another example of this rare event is Sophia Cameron and her best friend and co-model, Adriana Strimes who attended the same High School together. I am not out to bash the friendships of celebrities, however. Cody Renark and Sara Amberly met while on their way to fame, and the two became very close friends over the years. Blake Star and superstar, Ian Heart became very close, as well, over many years working together on the road. So, friendship is true whether you’re famous or not.
DATING:
Celebrity Sims try their hardest to avoid being seen with their new squeeze. None have succeeded better than Sophia Cameron, who has dated two regular men and has not, until recently, been in the tabloids about her love life. I bet we can all remember the fiasco involving Sara Amberly, Scott Sayers, and Willow Mallory. The then, hot 24-year-old crooner, had invited both women to visit him for a friendly vacation. He did share a passionate lip lock with Amberly in New York on New Year’s. However, it seems that more than just a simple friendship blossomed when he and sexy singer, Willow Mallory got together. Coah Renark and Ian Heart are the kings of dating and dumping. Coah dating everyone from Adeve Cheron to Charysma Lored. Ian becoming quite chummy with starlets like Britani Jacobs and Cheyane McNally. Blake Star is quite secretive with his love life as is Gabriel McShane. Cody Renark is another hot young man who is quite secretive about his own relationships, but that doesn’t stop the tabloids from talking. He’s been rumored to be with every woman from Willow Mallory, Ava Delonge, and even (you guessed it) Sara Amberly. Hmm…I do wonder if men tend to like both Willow and Sara at the same time.
THE PROPOSITION:
After dating comes love and a big diamond ring that sits on the hand of the luckiest women in Sim Nation. Ava Delonge was lucky enough to call herself Cody Renark’s fiancée for a few months, at least. The late, beautiful Chezney Casta was once engaged to Ian Heart himself before she fell in love with Irish hottie, Gabe McShane. Inga Katze and Ryan Pitt found love and got engaged after six months of dating. Blake Star and Kiwi Carter also joined the club after being engaged twice the last time I checked. The hottest couple in the world right now is by far, Scott Sayers and Willow Mallory. Their love story is like a…well…storybook. As I mentioned before he was stuck in a fiasco with Sara Amberly. Turns out he fell head over heels in love with the punk-rock sex-pot (not meant in an awful way) and popped the question merely a few months after meeting her. Ace Hampton has also been engaged quite a few time and every time it resulted in marriage: three times to be exact: Roxanne Briggs, Cheyane McNally, and Britani Jacobs. Not to mention, all were a lot younger than the 30-something Hotel Tycoon.
THE WEDDING:
Even fewer celebrity Sims find themselves at the alter ready to say “I Do.” Ian Heart found himself at the alter twice. Once with his High School sweetheart (and the mother of his first two children, Andon and Sara-Cheyane) Maria Alexis and the second with his…err…High School sweetheart, Cheyane McNally. Ace Hampton found himself, as I mentioned before, there three times. Roxanne Briggs, his high school lover; Cheyane McNally, his part-time lover; and Britani Jacobs, his newest lover. And, all are at least 10 years younger than him. Brooke Holland of Evansayer will also wed later this year to CEO of Blue Moon Entertainment, Constantine Cruz. Scott Sayers and Willow Mallory will tie the knot (one day) after being engaged for 3 years. Sophia Cameron is expected to say her vows on August 15, 2005 with her handsome Italian, English-challenged fiancée William Solis.
BABY, BABY, BABY…
Some celebrities find themselves parents after the nuptials … or before. Britani Jacobs gave birth to her baby girl Cecelia Hampton nine months to the date of her wedding with Ace Hampton. Blake Star is the daddy of four kids; Ian Heart is the father of four kids (Andon, Sara, Angel, Ryan) and two of which are through marriage (Aaralyn, Blaze). Sophia Cameron is expecting and is to give birth within two weeks to a baby girl she plans to name after her best friend, Adriana Annabella Solis. Willow Mallory was lucky enough to get more than just a kiss from hottie, Scott Sayers and now she’s the mother of little Arwen and expecting another child soon. Not to mention, they’ve taken in another little girl Rumor after the death of Josh Anders and Ava Delonge. Andon Amberly is following in his dad’s footsteps and got a French model “knocked up” recently. She gave birth to a little girl, Isabella Avery Amberly. Andon and his live-in girlfriend, Courtney Garner (model) are planning to get custody of the little girl. Adriana and Ames Strimes are the perfect couple it seems, and what makes them so perfect is their clan of children: twin boys and a new daughter. Other famous parents include, Coah Renark, Alisa Crawston, and actor, Jay Ferarra.
It seems that the celebrity life isn’t always glamorous. Even Cody Renark has been dumped. Scott Sayers has changed diapers while Andon Amberly is getting women pregnant without any strings attached. Drama fills the lives of these stars, but really, are they that different from the regular Sims of Sim Nation?
