"Popular" is based on an old tv series, but we would like to make a film. It basically follows the day to day life of 9 people. The Popular and...not so popular.
Chaos ensues within the school’s social pecking order . Backstabbing, lies, betrayl, and blackmail become the order of the day in search f or the holy grial of high school: popularity.

Lily Espisito: Animal rights actvist, and the typical "save the world" type. Boyfriend: Josh Ford (head football player) Best friends: Sam, Harrison, and Carmen. (Needs to have short brown hair and be somewhat interacial looking)
Sugar Daddy: He’s overweight, and a white rapper in training (icon: Eminem) but has a very touchy feely side. Girlfriend: (not a lead) Exquiste Wu Best Friends: Josh Ford, Brooke McQueen and eventually Harrison John.
Sam McPhearson: She’s a journalist, very critical, and sarcastic. Her sister is now Brooke McQueen most popular girl, that she’s always hated. But they learn to be friends. And loves her friends, through it all. (Needs to look “dark” and have long dark red hair) Boyfriend: George Austin (But finds out she loves the one that has had a crush on her for a long time) Best Friends: Brooke McQueen, Carmen Ferarra, Lilly Espisito, and Harrison John.
Mary Cherry: The most comical charcater in this, has a very fake and weird sounding southern accent. Comes from billions and is daughter of Cherry Cherry of Cherry Cherry Interprises. She is VERY strange, and a cheerleader. (Needs to have long blonde hair) Best Friends: Carmen Ferarra, Harrison John, Nicole Jullian, and Brooke McQueen.
Brooke McQueen: She struggles with an eating disorder, and always feels the need to be “perfect” because she’s a Glamazon (the cheerleading name) Her mother also left her at a young age. Though she finds a mother in new sister Sam’s – Jane McPhearson. (Needs to have blonde hair and be VERY thin) Boyfriend: Wants Harrison John (who also likes her AND Sam) Best Friends: Sam McPhearson, Carmen Ferarra, Merry Cherry, Nicole Jullian, Harrison John, Sugar Daddy, Josh Ford, Lilly Espisito.
Nicole Jullian: The biggest bitch, in high school history. She’s full of one liners, and pure hatred. But you learn to feel sorry for the cheerleader when you find out about her family life. She also donates bone marrow, when Harrison almost dies of lukemia. (Short Blonde hair is needed) Best Friends: Brooke McQueen (who she takes advantage of), and Merry Cherry.
Harrison John: One of the sweetest people on the show, he’s the artisy, smart guy. But is in love with both Brooke and Sam. He’s always been looked at as the “friend” type, but after lukemia and discovering that his loves might infact return those feelings, he is no longer just a “friend”. Friends: Everyone. But closest to Sam.
Josh Ford: He’s studly, a football player – and into animal rights? His life revolves around his girlfriend, and he’s a sweet guy even though he’s not too bright. Girlfriend: Lily Espisito Best Friends: Everyone.
Carmen Ferarra: She’s slightly overweight, but is very good at heart. Gets easily taken advantage of. But she’s FINALLY on the cheering squad, and has become popular at last.
Best Friends: Brooke McQueen, Merry Cherry, Sam McPhearson, Lily Espisito, and Harrison John.
George Austin: Head footballer, but is picked on a lot because he is black, in an almost all white school. Girlfriend: Sam McPhearson Best Friends: Sugar Daddy, Brooke McQueen and Josh Ford.
